Hi everyone - We went to our cabin (well house in the woods) over the weekend and stumbled across 2 very small but not infantile flying squirrels. We've been having problems with them in the house for about a year now - but this is the first we've actually seen the animal - mostly we see what they've been into when we're not there.
I brought the 2 little ones home with us tonight - I'd like to take them to the kids schools this week for show and tell - and to show the city kids here - that flying squirrels are real and aren't like Rocky....
I'd like to take them back to the woods this weekend but I'm reading what wonderful pets they make (even though it's not legal in PA).
Anyway - 'I'd love any suggestions you have - I have no idea even how old these are and if they should be getting formula - I did see the one working on an acorn. How can I determine how old they are??? I believe they are southern flyers - but I'm not completely sure of anything...
Any help would be greatly appreciated... My 4 kids are in love already....
