Default 5-6 week old squirrel with scabs and hairless red patches

Our dog brought home a 5-6 week old squirrel that was seemingly in such bad shape I thought he might live an hour, but after 2 hours of warmth he revived, started squeaking and trying to climb out of his box. I've given him droppers of electrolyte fluid and he seems healthy and active but I noticed he has several small red patches with no hair, and then I can feel scabs under his hair on one spot. He also has a scabless patch of baldness on his head. Name: Rocky 2 012.JPG

Size: 967.0 KBIt doesn't look like the photos I've seen of mange or mites. Any ideas? I dabbed each spot with peroxide and then Neosporin. I also have some EnteDerm ointment on hand that I thought I'd try.

    Becky!

Hard to tell anything from that picture,
Can you take another more in focus?
Are the bald spots raised any?
    How does the skin appear?

The neosporin is fine, not too sure of the other.
You do not want to use anything that contains zinc.
Would not use anymore peroxide either as it can destroy
    new skin tissue.

Sometimes it is easier to get a focused pic from farther away and then zoom in on the picture itself. It depends on the camera you are using.

He looks pretty bad and like he was attacked by something before your dog found him. How is his breathing? with so many wounds around his chest, I'd worry about a puncture leading to a pneumothorax and collapsed lung.
    SQUIRRELS RULE AND BUNNIES TOO!
