Default Baby squirrels going limp like dead!?

I have two baby squirrels, I have had them for about a weeknow and they are probably 4-5 weeks old. Today after feeding them around 8:30 pm I had set them back down in their drawer and then I went back to check on them and picked up the male baby squirrel and he was limp like he was dying but then after messing with him for about a minutes or two it's like he sprang back to life and became his first self again then I sat him back down walked away and came back about five minutes and he was like that again then the female baby started doing it! Could it just be the way they sleep or is something wrong with them? Please help!

What are you feeding them? How often? Using a syringe or some other method?

Thank you for saving these babies but first, what are you feeding them, how often and how much, and what kind of drawer are they in and what is in there with them, how old are they, are they on heat?? Do they feel cold to the touch?? Are you heating up their formula??

They are on a low setted heating pad, with a towel over it, and an extra towel in there with them.
They do feel warm to the touch.
Yes I warm their milk up.
I am feeding them Esbilac with extra water added to it. I did order fox valley, it should be here soon.
I did rehydrate and warm them before I ever fed them formula.
    I use a 3 CC cyringe.
I feed them 3 ounces every 3-4 hours around the clock.
    They are 4-5 weeks old

you mean 3 ccs not 3 ounces right?

3 cc is hard to feed with, and I hope you dont mean 3 ounces but 3cc's.
Is it the new esbilac with the pro-biotics?? and why are you watering it down?

It's just esbilac i got from pet smart and because I was told to do so since they changed the ingredients and it doesn't mix very well anymore so I add extra water, not a lot though.

The male has done that a few times and I will tilt his nose towards the ground and wipe it from his nose for a few minutes before feeding him again.
What can I give him to keep him from getting pneumonia?

Let me see if I can start a thread for your area, you need baytril and a 1cc syringe. It is easier to feed them with.

Yes it's right in the middle of Arkansas haha and I'm wanting to raise the squirrels myself. I know that some of you won't agree because I've never raised squirrels before but I pretty much have the gist of what I'm supposed to be doing to keep these little guys alive. And I think this will be a very good learning experience for me since I want to become a rehabilitator. It is like my dream.

Update: the squirrels have not been going limp anymore and it's been about an hour now. I'm praying that everything will be okay.

If the squirrels do end up getting Pneumonia how much Batryll will I have to give them and how often?

You would have to tell us the strength of the Baytril or Cipro you have and the weight of the squirrels so we could dose. Too much or too little is bad.
