    Default Easy Homemade Nebulizer Chamber

I thought I'd share an easy way to treat pneumonia cases with a heated nebulizer chamber. I use saline solution breathing treatments to help clear out the lungs and it has really seemed to benefit the critical baby squirrels.

I use a big glass jar and attach a fast food milkshake lid so the nebulizer will fit in the hole of the lid and the lid can be opened to put babies in and out. I put a few layers of fleece in the jar for comfort. I place the jar on it's side on a heating pad and let it warm up first, because otherwise the moist air from the nebulizer chills the babies.

Here's some pictures of my contraption. I hope maybe this idea can be useful to other rehabbers :-)

Maybe this could be demonstrated at the Gathering this year? I get the jar, the fleece, and the lid, but not the rest of it.
