I've been watching the new baby explore the yard, yesterday and this morning!!

This one seems quite the character, already!! Yesterday he was jumping up and down from the lemon tree, then seemed excited when Peepers came along, and tried to JUMP ON PEEPERS, LOL!! Poor Peepers actually looked freaked our, like what is this crazy baby doing, and he ran off. I wish I had it on video.

Yep, this baby is the super brave, super curious one...little one just came all the way up to me while I was talking to him, AND SNIFFED MY SHOE!! CUTE!!

Did I mention I saw another?? There's at least two...

This is the new baby who walked up to me this morning and sniffed my shoe!! He sniffed walnuts this afternoon, didn't know what to do with them, but went to town on the avocado!! At one point, he saw ButchKin come along, and he ran over and tried to get under her, as in to nurse, but he had a chunk of avocado hanging out of his mouth!!
ButchKin was too busy coming to me for treats, and ignored the little one, anyway. Don't disturb mama while she's hungry!!

Wow....how lucky are you?! To have Butchkin and her babies visiting and that lil one has got to have been watching Momma....she knows you are a friend too adorable....and wow! Peanut has gotten big....and I just love your green thumb...your yard is so colorful

Somebody came along, who was not nice, and began chasing the poor baby #2. I believe it was the one I refer to as "the other Peanut", which I don't think I've ever mentioned. So, there's Peanut, there's Peepers, and there's another who looks like them, especially reminds me of Peanut, so he's "the other Peanut" for now. It's been my guess that these three are siblings, so that's what I'm going with! So, the other Peanut chased baby #2, AND I GOT TO SEE BUTCHKIN GO INTO MOM MODE!! That was neat to see. She came down off the lemon tree, saw the chase, and she tore after the other Peanut, who fled the yard in a hurry!! Way to go ButchKin!

Yay, I'm so glad you all got to see the babies!! In the morning breakfast rush today, it appeared there MIGHT be a third baby?? First off, #1(avocado baby) is just such a kick ass baby, it's hilarious!! His thing is avocado, he so far sniffs walnuts and keeps walking! You can identify #1 by his wonky tail. It's like a chunk is missing, and I just hope part of it is not going to fall off.

Baby #2 is scaredy baby and might be a bit smaller. Well this morning someone other than #1 took avocado, ran to the left, but suddenly a baby was up on the fence to the right, so I'm assuming it was a third one. ButchKin shooed him. She does not want babies bothering her.

It's a beautiful day. I'm on the back steps waiting for the dinner crowd to show. Here's my flower garden, all in pots outside the back door by the squirrel cabana.

By the way, anyone remember how scared I was for the well being of Peanut #1 and Peepers??!! (Way back when they were younger) Those two, and Peanut #2, are still really small and scrawny, with skinny tails, and yet, THEY ARE COOCOO!! Two out of those three managed to break into the house, try bullying other squirrels, and are just plain NUTS!! I still think Peanut #1 is maybe a bit off from his early head injury, but he seems like he does Ok, thank goodness. It's just funny how worried I was about them!!

Here's my ballsy baby this morning, found the nut bowl and went to town!! Initially, he only went for avocado. He'd sniff walnuts and ignore them. Guess he decided to branch out and try new foods!

Lol, that's the brave one in the above pics!! That's funny you say that, I had a dream I walked into the living room and one was there!! I think it was Peepers, lol. I'm paranoid now they're going to get back in the house!!
