He's empty! Nothing in there to come out yet. Don't fret - get him hydrated, then start him on the goats milk formula MINUS the heavy cream. He will probably take several feedings of it before you begin to see any poops. Just keep giving him fluids and it will come!

Very likely. Dehydration slows the metabolism. As he gets hydrated you may begin to see the bruises form if he got banged up in his fall. Hopefully they will be minor...

I think the little hippo is an eastern gray squirrel.

I just went through the same thing. Push water. I also gave watered down apple juice . Warm water soaks . Just hold him under the arm pits and put his butt in a bowl of warm water and massage downwards. Make Sure you dry him well after wards . I also would put a rice buddy next to him after him is dry

Apple juice, prune juice, fiber, things that pull water into the gut. At couple drops of veg oil are good too.

How constipated? How long since last BM? Was it hard?

Do you have any fruit juice? Watermellon? If no fruit juice, some sugar water will help. Sugar pulls water into the gut. Fruits have other things that do that too, but at least some water with a bit of sugar in it will help.

Can't you get some apple juice? Anywhere sells it. Look for 100% juice. It has sugar as well as a natural laxative.
