I just wanted to share a new recipe I made for my boys. I call it squirrel ice cream and they love it!!
1 part FV
2 parts hot water
1/2 part coconut oil (its a solid so heat it up to melt it before adding it)
some acidophilis
some calcium
a few crushed walnuts (you could do any nut here)
and a little bit of Karo to sweeten it a bit (optional)
Add all ingredients and mix well. Put in a small container and put in freezer. Mix again about 30 min into the freezing process to make sure its all mixed well. I then cut out pieces for them to hold and eat and they go crazy for this treat and don't even know its good for them.
You could play with the recipe and add other things to change the flavor up a bit and I bet this would be great on a hot summer day to cool off a hot squee.
I bet you could add some HHB or rodent blocks for added nutrition.
