can too much antibiotic be harmful?

I am usr to giving them antibiotic twice a day, i was given a new antibiotic and was told to give it to them ONCE day but have been giving it to them twice a day by mistake...can this be harmful??? Should i continue the antibiotic but remember to give it once a day?

They weight 35 grams, ive been doing this since yesterday, gave them.one dose in the morning and one dose at night and another dose this morning

Is the Baytril 22.7 mg/ml (liquid injectable)--I understand you are giving it orally. We need to know about the Baytril in order to answer your question correctly.

Don't give them another dose today. Since they were already on the amox. I would dose once tomorrow, and ONCE Wednesday and then stop all abs.
Make sure they are getting their yogurt and you can give them water between feedings to flush it out. You would have seen a problem already if it did affect them. I think you're fine since you only did this once.

Overdoses can be hard on kidneys and liver, Not much you could do at this point. Just make sure they stay well hydrated. Give the regular (1) dose tomorrow they will most likly be fine. I know a few that were over dosed for a longer period and did fine without any problem arising.
