k, I gave it to her, and she took two scratches of it on her teeth, and then she didnt want it.
Exactly why you mix it with water and stuff it into her. She NEEDS this whether she wants it or not.

I crunched up half of a 750 mg tablet. do I feed all of that to her right now? or just quarter of the tablet? this will be the first time I've given it to her.
Week 1: calcium = 500 mg per day
Week 2: calcium = 250 mg per day
Weeks 3-8: calcium = 100 mg per day
It's usually suggested that it be spread throughout the day, maybe three or four doses? Whatever works. Btw, going over isn't going to kill her. Too much calcium over too long a period is bad but you are in a critical phase.
so...... give her the whole tablet?
I'm just going to give her the whole tablet tonight. half now, and half early in the morning.
how do you force feed a squirrel with one hand? and these sharp claws are a problem......
Just remember that what you want is steady blood levels. Speading it out is the way to do that

well... never mind. that was easy! she wasn't taking it, and I went to type something, and she was yanking my arm, trying to get the spoon! it was really funny! hopefully this wont be as hard as I thought.
I will spread it out, though tomorrow will be difficult....
Good. She likes it now?
If you ever have to force her, it's called a burrito.
The following link shows the burrito used for trimming teeth, which you may or may not eventually have to worry about. You know they continually grow for the life of the squirrel, right? I think 6 inches a year. If they don't wear them down by chewing, they need a manual trim.

thanks. I hope I wont have to use it, though. it was kinda funny. she makes me laugh alot! 6 inches is alot! i knew they grew, but not that much!
