Picky eater?
Since Hiccup had been eating solid food, I try to give him as wide a variety as possible. Currently (the menu changes about every week) he is getting 1 block, kale, sweet potato, green bell peppers, a small piece of apple and one "wild" chestnut (shelled and inspected for worms) for breakfast, a salad of mixed lettuces for lunch and then the same thing he had for breakfast for dinner minus the chestnut. Occasionally, before bed, I will give him a vanilla wafer but usually its a shelled almond as a snack.
I've been noticing that he's eating his block, chestnut, vanilla wafer and almond when he gets them, but he normally just nibbles on and then hides everything else. I know he needs to eat his block and that veggies are very important for him, so should I cut out the "junk food" until he starts eating his good stuff? Is there a way to make him like his veggies more?
Besides not eating his veggies he is absolutely perfect. He is full of energy and seems to be getting bigger every day, I just want to make sure he is getting the right nutrition.
