Last night, Stosh was kind enough to do up a photo with arrows and amounts when we tried to explain a certain amount of cc's of meds.
I thought it was so impressive and helpful, so I decided to make it a sticky.... Thank you so much Stosh!!!!!

Maybe this will help you understand...
1 cc = the ENTIRE syringe
0.1 cc= 1/10 of a syringe

Another way to look at is - money.

If 1mL(cc) was a $1 bill and someone were to give you change...


10 cents (dime) would be 0.10mL

1 cent (penny) would be 0.01mL

5 cents (nickel) would be 0.05mL

25 cents (quarter) would be 0.25ML

math examples:
10 cents x 10 = $1; 0.10mL x 10 = 1mL

25 cents x 4 = $1; 0.25mL x 4 = 1mL

1 cent x 100 is $1; 0.01mL x 100 = 1mL
