I just spoke with kissle13 and she just gave the little one more FV and antibiotics.
She is as comfortable as can be, while still in rough shape, but in excellent hands.
I passed along the information for dosing ibuprofen, which will make her more comfortable.
We are touching base tomorrow morning, and if this little girl feels up to it,
I will be meeting kissle half way and bringing this little one home with me,
and then up to my vet's first thing Monday morning.
Sending many prayers that she makes it through the night....
I know this little one is in excellent hands....thank you again for picking her up.

Thank you astra for the heads up!

Dont let anyone tell you it's just a squirrel. Tell them they have never taken the time to let a squirrel get into your heart!

My darling Scooter, beloved Hami, sweet gentle Simon... YOU are the ones who brought that magic in my life. You've changed the way I see all things around me now and, because of you, I want to be a better person. This is not goodbye, my sweethearts. You be at peace, your work here on earth is done... now you are finally, truly free. Until we meet at the Bridge again, please remember that I will always love you.

I just wanted to tell you guys that you are all angels! Anyone who would spend so much time and energy to save a sick, frightened wild animal like this is an amazing person. You guys bring tears to my eyes.

This is a bad month for it... but I hope to donate something to the TSB fund soon... now that I am learning how much you all do for wildlife.

But yeah, you guys are this little animal's angels I hope you are all proud, and that this little lady makes it.

Even with having company this evening I have been excusing myself to check this thread. Sending prayers and light for her to be strong throughout the night and for her recovery...

We just got done feeding her. She took 3cc's of the FV/Goat milk formula ...she was very resistant but we got it in her! She is still very "uncomfortable" looking... but she has not worsened. Her open wound is not oozing and has starting to dry up... good sign? we hope. We hope she makes it throught the night so we can get her to Nancy & her vet in NY. Thank you all so much for your love and support. We could not have done this without you!!! Hugs all around!

Just waiting to hear an update myself...
I'm sure kissle13 or myself will let you all know immediately how the little one is doing this morning. Such a sad looking little baby. I'm so glad that kissle13 saw her and picked her up.
Glad that she took FV last night....
