the tablet should be long like an oval/footballl
it should have a score in the middle where you can half it...
using a small thin knife blade, try to break evenly in half...
    USE ONLY ONE HALF

put half tab in a large tablespoon
smash with a smaller teaspoon...go slow, do nopt spill any please...crush fine

can you read the lines on your syringe??
are you sure it is 1 cc?
get a small baby food jar or clean small container put crushed medicine in and two syringes full {2 ccs total} of clean tap water.
    am I making sense?

does anyone want to he;lp me guess mr pinks weight?
I am going to use 30 grams otherwise..IDK???

That's a lot of it, 1 quart of water. How long does that last? My pedalyte says 48 hours so i can't give it to him anymore. I'm making that now, but he only drinks like 1cc, so why make so much?
now dang it...don't get my blonde brain off the subject..
    but yes that's alot..
that's the only recipe I know..I do half it using 2 cpus warm water
1.5 tblspoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon salt..
you can freeze this into cubes and thaw as needed...there..

I so agree....we can change if baytril can be located...
The cillans are not choice for squirrels for the belly ache issues stated above...

    I have a correction to make ...

will make it in next post...sorry..it's minor change..

instead of adding two ccs of water...
add 3 ccs of water total..
    I apologize...
it was too small amount to dose ...this is better
so half a tab and 3 ccs water

    * cc and ml are the same thing

    can you read your syringe?
make sure it is one cc

OH goodness. Where in Illnois are you?
You need a rehabber. Vets in Illinois (unless you have a special relationship) are not allowed to service wildlife to the general public.

I have baytril and there are quite a few of us that can help you. This baby needs some help.

Here's a link for locating wildlife in Illinois. Sorry TSB -I've been so busy with baby coonies and its my busy time of year with Gypsy Moth Research - I miss you guys

    http://web.extension.illinois.edu/wi...nals.cfm#rehab

please contact one close to you and get some meds - for the little bug-a-boos sake. Thanks so much for rescuing and finding TSB - its the best place around for help.

    First dose should be .1cc
{that will be about 1/3 of an inch up the syringe...
    10 wee little microscopic lines}

.06cc will be all other doses
    6 wee little lines

Stir very well before drawing up in the syringe each and every time

    store in refridgerator
    do this twice a day...

    does this make sense?
I have a hard time conveying info...not that I think you are backwards, it's me that is.

yogurt will be diluted with a smidge of water and slowly fed...

Your pill is still the right pill...BMP 204 is 62.5mg Clavamox (amoxicillin trihydrate/clavulanate potassium) Mfr by GSK and distributed by Pfizer, and is a veterinary med.

Cut it in half and follow EXACTLY what Jackie posted, as soon as possible.

Yes, still give the yogurt as the meds will kill the good and bad gut flora and the yogurt will help. Add a tiny bit of water to the yogurt so you can use the syringe to feed it. Go VERY SLOWLY.

If your syringe has a .5cc mark, then from that mark down to the tip of the syringe with a pen/marker divide the space into 5 equal sections, then fill to the very first line. I think by your pic it looks close, but I would measure it out and make all of the marks so you can see that they are all even.

go to the pharmacy and get a better syringe...any drug store...
ask for a needless syringe...tell them you are feeding a baby hamster
IT REALLY SHOULD BE 1cc if possible...
sometimes they have 1/2 cc syringe ...that's good too...
    just not a big one....
a feed store will FOR SURE have one...tractor supply
    a vets office...
