Great shots! Thank you.
glad you like them. Here are a few more.
Absolutely fasinating creatures!
what was gross is that while I was taking the photos the guy was still alive. well, that's not the gross part. the gross part was that the blood you see in his stomache was moving around as I took the pictures. If you look at the bunch of them (the last one photographed) you can se that it is shaped differently each time.
You just gave it a bad case of indigestion.![]()
Okay, seriously - what got you started photoing these guys? The shots of the eggs are great, too.
Unfortunately my Grumblebee is infested with them. I thought that they were all gone untill yesterday I noticed a couple of crawlies again. As for photographing them, I am a photographer. about using a microscope, I'm just a nerd. Most kids had light bright and big wheels growing up. I had microscopes, telescopes, pottery supplies including the kilm, art materials and books.
It's great to have a nerd on board, those are great photos/slides.
Wish we were related. I got in trouble taking my chatty kathy doll apart to see how it worked.![]()
Charming.![]()
Great photos SF...what kind of microscope and camera are you using....and how does one get started in this micro/camera/action stuff!!!I have been looking at microscopes but don't know much about them...I worked at a place where I did micro assembley of electronic components.....10 micron wires, soldering and surface mounting etc....no shakey hands allowed!!! LOL!!!
Do you have a picture of your scope and camera...is it one piece or two???? See I have no clue. Thank you in advance!!!![]()
