    Default handling and taming

    i was wandering what is the best way to gain the trust of my new baby? i spend lots of time petting him and i can get him to take treats from my hand but when ever i try to hold him or get him out for exercise he goes in to panic mode please help me i dont want him to be afraid of being out of his cage or me im afraid he will get hurt trying to flee any advice you can offer i would be truly grateful for

    I know with Chipper in his younger years there was no way you were going to hold him unless he wanted it, as he got older that is all he wanted us to do, especially his daddy. He never really ran from us when he was out but he still wanted his space. Just give it time and be very careful when walking, shutting doors or anything like that. As you probably have learned by now they are very fast, like lightning
