Ir the wound was full of dirt in that pic so it looked like it was knitting together...it was fresh and wide open after the dirt out removed If it would have gone any deeper you would have seen her insides....very nasty wound indeed. I did put a tiny dab of plain neosporin on it after cleaning it....it needed something.Originally Posted by island rehabber
When I had said can we mention their name/I meant the name of the clinic I tell everyone about them In fact I need to go stop in and say hi to them soon
Good thinking FM...it did look like it was scabbed over, from the pic. Poor sweetie pie!!Originally Posted by FallensMommie

First can I ask Administration to move to perhaps non-emergency...I dont want to plug up the emergency on updates
I talked to Marie this evening, Lil Miss Sunshine is doing wonderful. Her wound is almost healed and her bruising almost gone. Marie said she is a little piggy and doing her bathroom deeds well
Dr. Emerson took a look at her when brought in and thought she was between 1 to 3 days old Marie said even as of today she is pink with no shadowing of fur under the skin.
Here was a pic of her when I had her, you can see how young she was:
I want to just thank everybody that helped and supported Lil Miss Sunshine...I haven't raised a squirrel in almost 3 yrs so was a little rusty. Thanks IR for talking my call and guiding me in the what to do again
I'll call Marie next Friday to see how little one is doing!
What a wonderful update FallensMommie....wow, I don't think I ever expected her to make it, she looked in rough shape and baking in the sun and all...but then with you helping her...why would I have any doubts.

i am glad to hear that she is doing so much better!!
