You ran your race well little man and now you've won. WE lost but you're free. Stay close to your family for awhile. They miss you so much. And all of us who came to love you, well--we always will. Carry that love with you to the other side and share it with all the animals that never knew how wonderful love is. Sweet sleep Buddy

I'm speechless, Marci... the words fail me, all I can say is I'm so, so sorry your little Buddy is gone. He was such a precious soul, we will all miss him.

R.I.P. Little angel Buddy. You fought a valliant fight, you earned the peace and freedom from the pain. Be happy and run with joy, sweetie.

My darling Scooter, beloved Hami, sweet gentle Simon... YOU are the ones who brought that magic in my life. You've changed the way I see all things around me now and, because of you, I want to be a better person. This is not goodbye, my sweethearts. You be at peace, your work here on earth is done... now you are finally, truly free. Until we meet at the Bridge again, please remember that I will always love you.

Marci what beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing Buddy with us and for everything you did for him. I learned a lot from your thread; I've only known wild chippies, and had no idea how domestic chippies could be such sweet little pets. Your tribute is perfect, and I feel as if I really knew Buddy now.
