    Question Litter Training- HELP!

So my two 8 week old girls are doing well, we've had bouts of diarrhea, dehydration, MBD and Esbilac. But they are lively, happy and love. The only thing I am having issues with is their pooping habits! They go EVERYWHERE! lol. Now I deal with poop all day at work and at home too, but these two are giving me a run for my money. When I let them out after I get home from work they love to climb momma like a tree, and poop in her hair :-( which means I get to shower a lot! lol I have a ferret corner litter box in the bottom of their cage (tall, large parakeet cage) and they think its a bed. Not to mention they will sit on their hammock and poop on top of it. Is there something I can do to litter train them? If this is how they will be for the duration of their time with my I can live with it but I would love to be able to snuggle them more often than I do now. My husband and brother are building their over-winter cage for my birthday this week! So excited. So I would like to start training them now. Is this something they will grow out of? Thanks!!

I put a little pan (like you get with a frozen entree or pre-packaged veggies--no meat) of unscented clumping litter with a rock in it to hold it down on the bottom of the cage. My baby (who I was SURE would use me as a toilet) has been spot on using her potty box. That being said--my released baby never did get the hang of using anything other than what she was standing on when nature called.

Most of them will poop anywhere, anyhow, on anything.....it's what they do.

I had poop stuck on the back of my dress pants in my office the other day. My work-study student said "Julie, you have a little somethin' on the back of your pants"

Then the week before I was looking down my shirt and found lots of presents ... I stood over the trash can in my office pulling out pellets. I love my squirrels. Really!

My squirrel has learned to pee in his litter box, but for the most part he poos anywhere! I use this stuff

    http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...ductId=2753282

It didn't really involve training, I took a cat litter box, filled it with this stuff and put a few of his poops in it and he started to use it. Of course I had to make sure any accidents outside the box were always cleaned up so no new spot was established. Still working on the poop...at least it vacuums up easy :P

My RocketMan has decided that the artificial decorative plant that sits on our kitchen island is the best place for poops 😂
