    Talking Greetings!

Hi! I'm Andrea and i'm with Ludwig my pet squirrel. We are both from Honduras, Central America (Latin America). I am a begginer when it comes to Squirrel breeding so I hope I can have your guidance when it comes to raising Ludwig, up to now he's been a sweetheart. He has his own vet and I am always checking on him. Hope we can meet a lot of friends here and share some experiences.

Andrea! What type of squirrel is Ludwig? We love seeing squirrels from all over the planet....have you checked out Rama Rota, the King of Costa Rica's thread?

There is so much information here on Squirrel care, nutrition, caging, and just plain fun. We're glad you found us!

Oh yeah....we are seriously obsessed with pictures on this site.....

I am not sure what species he is but by searching he might be a Deppe a Verrigated and least likely a richmond squirrel (haven't seen a picture of these to compare though but they live close.

Actually Ludwig has his own facebook xD

I am checking the threat right now and made one myself to see if I could gather some info. I noticed a lot of great info in the other forums and I am making a mental note to try and see if he can eat avocado. Although he seems attracted to chinese fried rice I am not letting him anywhere near that

Here are some pics of him

    the first day:

    with my father

On my lap as we were getting to know each other

    2 minutes after that

actually I made him a facebook page to keep track of his development and show his pictures to my friends who actually like him. He's very curious and I noticed he loves climbing

Climbing down from the curtains and on the mosquito protecting window

being a daredevil (and scaring the hell out of me)

smart lady!! He's definitely got my taste in food, though . We've learned from our Costa Rican members that tropical squirrel species often eat lots more fruit than their North American cousins, so avocado is probably perfect for Ludwig. Most squirrels love it.

Heh, I am sure I'll be able to provide many pics of him for the forum, Ludwig's very social and curious about my camera but he doesn't minf getting pictures taken so I promise to take a lot all the time. He's asleep now so I can't take any new ones
