HELP!

I keep trying to post photos the way I always have and I'm getting repeated messages that my files exceed the limit by "x" amount. Problem is "x" amount is the size of the file and it's WELL below the limit. I don't understand why this is happening.

Good Morning from Costa Rica,
When I post my photos--I usually
1-Right Click on the photo
2- select [U]"open with..." [/U ]I use Microsoft Outlook
3- select EDIT
4- select "compress files"
5- choose Documents ( for large photo view)
6- choose Web Pages ( for more reduced file -reduce photo size)
both are good
7- X-out from Edit screen
8- click "save changes"
9- select "OPEN" this will send the photo to the TSB attachment screen and it wiil be listed in the "BROWSE" line #1
10- if you want to post multiple photos --click the 2 nd. browse line--and repeat steps 1 >> 9
11- click "upload" and wait for the 'DONE" to appear in the lower left corner.
12- click "close this window"
You don't see the photos in the "preview post" screen--but they ARE there. They appear when you click "Submit Reply"

I just don't understand why I'd have to change how I've always done it. My files are very very small. There's no reason it shouldn't be working. It's always worked in the past.

I had the same problem last night when I was uploading pictures. I ended up uploading to photobucket and then sharing them here. It never gives me trouble about picture size, but last night all of mine exceeded the limit.

Oh good it's not just me. I don't have photo bucket. I need another "thing" like... well like something I don't need. *grins*

Nope a few other folks are having the same issues. I have Photobucket, I think, but it doesn't work well with Firefox so I almost never use it

IR got me, Squerly says it sounds like the database is full and he will have to work on it tonight. Try to be patient and hope we don't have to have a picture for emergency purposes.

He is in construction mode in NC right now, trying to beat the rain storm that is on it's way.

tomcics...I think if you use photobucket you should be able to put pictures up...

I can post pictures fine using Flickr.

Hi Nancy, just tried and got same error messages. I shrunk them real small too.

I seen Ardilla said they could post photos using flickr, never used that. If it's a database size problem, I would be surprised anything worked.
