I know that with dogs (at least ours) at least twice a week, I feed him by hiding his food around the house and tucked into different pockets on his toys or snuffle mat. It's a great workout for him! I imagine that squirrels are the same? With our little Benny, (now 9 weeks, I think?) should we be hiding her food around her cage and in toys so that she can forage and hunt for her food instead of eating straight out of a bowl? Here's a picture of the little nut - She's still thin, but you can't feel her bones anymore. She isn't wanting to drink out of a syringe anymore at all. In fact, I can hardly get her to drink her formula out of a bowl! She prefers to eat rodent block.
