I want to thank you for sending this around the board. It is so important to keep these little loves alive and with us. There is a great National Geographic on Animal Planet called American Savannah. It features Prairie Dogs and Bison. A must see.
I have Prairie Dogs and they are so different from other animals. They are very loving and social and much mis understood thanks to ranchers and developers.
I posted a thread on the breed specific under ground squirrels. The stupid Prairie Dog ban was lifted yesterday. Finally. If anyone here had even the smallest part in this Thank you from the bottom of all Prairie Dogs lovers hearts and a big YAHOO to you. Now we need to has responsible ownership and have poisoning and killing banned, not just for the PD's but ALL squirrel species.
Everyone here know how special these guys and girls are as are the those you care for them.
I'm going back to my borrow /drey now.
