Hi guys, I got the new cage!! They love it... Dont have any pictures yet but they are coming.

Anyhow, Lateley I have noticed that one of the boys (Aspen) is bullying the other two. Hes fatter, bigger and Hogs all the nuts and some food. He hasnt attacked them or anything but I am affraid that it wont be too long. He chases them around the cage and everything.

Do you think I should take him and put him back in the old cage so they are seperated? I hate to because they all love there new home so much but I just dont want anyone to get hurt lol.

Let me know what you all think. Thanks! Ashley :thankyou

I have one squirrel in the outside cage that is bigger and fatter than the rest and will hog the food and chase the others off, but I know he would never hurt the other guys so I leave them together. If you are worried that the others aren't getting enough to eat or that the one is getting too fat, try hiding the nuts around the cage instead of just piling them in one spot. Then everyone has to look for their food and will get their share. It is working great with my guys and the huge guy is starting to slim down again. Squirrels don't usually beat eachother up if they were raised together and are used to eachother. They make all kinds of racket at eachother, but they don't usually attack eachother.

Thats a good idea thanks!

He isnt really agressive like to the point of drawing blood but he does chase the other two off a lot. I just dont want the other two to suffer from a bully but on the other hand I odnt want to single him out because he diserves a nice new house too. I think Im gunna try to hide the nuts like you said first and then see how that goes.
Thanks again!
