Wierd squirrel hickups!

Hi all, Im new on the Squirrel board:D , and I have a question about my little siberian chimpmunk, not long ago I noticed that she is hickuping all the time:(
I called a vet but she says that she doesnt know much about squirrel hickups:shakehead
anyone tell me how to calm those hickups, or cure em?need help!!!:Squirrel

I believe the hickups are caused by a muscle spasm of the diaphram and is harmless. If it continues I can look to see if there is a homeopathic rememdy the might help. In the mean time you may want to try putting 3 drops of Rescue Remedy in the drinking water and changing it several times a day for a day or two and see if that will help. Rescue Remedy can be found at most health food stores. :)

my vet told me to buy santalina N6 ,which is commonly used for solving stomach problems for rodents,I put it in her food every 2 days (3 drops in the food) , and at first it helped her a bit but she still gets those big hickups...
it kinda calms her a bit:thinking
