I have a 9 week old flying squirrel. Her nails are getting too long and they hurt when she climbs on you. How do you keep their nails trimmed?:crazy

Have you seen a Wodent Wheel with the Nail-o-matic? It will do the job for you...

Make sure she has some large tree limbs to climb on and chew....that will help a lot. You can also get a piece of flat rock and put her food on it, so that she will keep them trimmed. My friend plays 'tug-of-war' using an emery board with her flyers to keep their nails trimmed.

I have my husband hold Max all wrapped up in a hand towel (head always covered) like a burrito....... then while hubby is holding Max tight I pull one foot out at a time and clip his nail with a baby nail clipper, it is all over in minutes.
