Chukka is beating up on Potbelly!

Okay everyone I have a problem. Chukka (my older male) is beating up on his sister al the time. She has no wiskers left, when she tries to come out of her little house he scratches and bites at her to the point where she screams. This has been going on for a while now. I just separated them because he wouldnt let her get a drink of water or even eat. I have put Chukka in the small cage and Hombre in the larger one with Potbelly (they are getting along great) but I cant keep Chukka in this little cage. It will be atleast another week before I can build the larger prerelease cage. HELP!!:dono :shakehead

I think that's perhaps the best you can do is to separate them. Sometimes they just do not get along. can you give Potbelly play time out in a "safe" room?
