No bleeding, no injuries that i can see, I have her in a bonding pouch now, as the only cage I have right now is occupied by an 8 week old or so grey maybe fox squirrel...
I have a critter keeper i suppose she can stay in for now...
I havent looked up her age yet, but I am sure she is still on mommy's milk. Will the esbilac formular I use for the grey be find to use for the flyer?
Anything different I need to do for the flyer than the grey? She's my first flyer..
Jesus... I just surrendered Toby to the vet/rehabber maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago.. Maybe it was to make room for these two babies who maybe needed me more.
One thing is for sure.. I am going to be a busy surrogate mother now..

Everything is the same for a flyer, just smaller nipples and quantities. You probably don't want to start on Esbilac immediately, but start off with some Pedialyte first. A change in diet might bring on diarrhea, so you should ease them into it.
Are there bite wounds?

I want to say she is 6 to 7 weeks old.

will she be fine through the night, or should I start on pedialyte now and throughout?
No bite wounds I can see.. let me check through her fur a little closer..
She can definitely walk and hop fine... so no broken bones..

No wounds, what so ever.

Will the lab blocks I have for the grey be okay too? All the same fruits, seeds?

At 4-5 weeks, they start getting introduced to solid food. If it's warm, and maintaining temperature, you can offer a little Pedialyte tonight. It may not care for the artificial nipple at first, but worth a try.
Confirm if there are indeed any pucture wounds, as cat bites are deadly. If it turns out clean, what's the history? Any chance of trying to reunite it with Mommy?

i would give her some warm pedialyte just to give her a boost through the night.
make sure there is no saliva left on her fur or anything.
the solid foods are probably the same, but i wouldn't offer any just yet. she'll be alright without solids until tomorrow, and then we can think up a comprehensive list of foods for her.
make sure she can stay warm throughout the whole night. in the morning, you could start formula mixed 4 to 1 so that she can ease into the diet.
do you have a 1 cc syringe?

I have no idea where my cat got it from.. we live next to a huge cemetary.. I wouldn't know where to start. My father just happened to walk outside to my cat playing with this squeaking thing. He banged on my bedroom door with his hands cupped...

I'll wipe her with a warm rag, and dry her.. then get some pedialyte in her
I don't have a 1cc syringe, it's on my shopping list for tomorrow. I do have a baby medicine dropper...
For warmth, I'll wrap a warm water bottle in a shirt in the critter keeper..
My mother has a spare ten gallon tank at her house.. I suppose that will have to suite for now..

Sounds like a good plan. If you have access to a heating pad, it will provide constant heat all night, but not sure how effective it would be under a tank.

How old would they need a heating pad until? I believe she is 6 to 7 weeks. Ought to put that on the list too...

hmmm.....
i would give her heat tonight, regardless of her age. she's been through a traumatic experience- heat helps to calm down wild animals, and increases their circulation, which improves immunity and lessens shock.
so since this is the first night, definitely give her heat. but after tomorrow, if she seems calm, she can probably go without. ;)

Yes I have. My co-worker's roommate works as a day laborer and Thursday they were cutting the dead stuff out of trees, and the nest was mistaken for dead stuff...
Two of the babies were fatally injured by the chainsaw, I have no status on the mommy... needless to say I received the remaining, uninjured baby on Friday. She had two feedings of pedialyte as she hadn't eaten for at least a day, and then she's been eating esbilac like a champ.
I'm not sure as to if she is a grey squirrel... I've never seen foxers in my area of florida, but her tummy is definitely a little rusty and she has more orange on her sides, face, and tail than I normally see in greys. And her tail seems super long. I'll post pics of both of them tonight.
I couldn't find a water bottle, but I did have a nitril glove from work. I wasn't sure of the compatability of the nitril glove with microwaves so to be safe I heated up the water seperately and poured it into the glove, wrapped in a tshirt and the flyer loved it!
This morning I made a weak mixture of esbilac to ease it on her tummy. All I have for now is a medicine dropper, which the grey/foxer adapted to real quick. For the flyer I squeeze out a droplet at a time and she laps away. She caught on real quick..
