I have a squirrel family in my attic. Mom comes and goes and the babies peek out every day. One has started coming out with mom. First time he fell out, and she spent over an hour trying to get him back through the roof vent. I rigged a way for him to get back in, now he comes and goes on his "ladder". I really can't let them stay up there, I'm afraid of other unwanted animals coming in, Any advice?

Place a nest box in a nearby tree. There are lots of examples to build your own, and references of places you can get them. Once you have it up, hopefully they will relocate. If not, there are things you can do to encourage them to move in, such as food placement near the box, and deterants in the attic, like a radio.

TSB member ''Sparky'' has made some very nice squirrel homes - he has a thread with pictures....somewhere, LOL!

Did the squrriels move in? Mine sometimes have there baby's in there, and sometiems i have no little baby squrriels in my box. It's hard to predict but having them in you'r attic is not a smart idea. Sometimes they can get into things. Well good luck keep me posted!:jump
