October Babies ?????

A bang on my door, from my neighbor who has a tree service, has just brought me two tiny babies.

I mean tiny. The girl still seems to have the umbilical cord. I would figure no more than a day or two old.

I had to run out and get a heating pad. Mine is at school awaiting a 5 week old coming to me on Monday.

They are warming as we speak and then I will feed them.

I was just so shocked at how young they are. I know we live in Florida but, WOW.

They are babies 9 & 10 (in 4 years) for me to raise.

I am a little worried. I have to put on my reading glasses to find their little mouths.

They seem strong but I just hope they are getting enough formula. It is so hard to tell.

I have never heard of such late babies.

I will weight them tomorrow and report. My scale is at school. We still weight Doll twice a week. She was 36g when school started and now weighs 224g. She is getting so big.


I will try hard to find that little cord thing that goes from my camera to my laptop so I can post pictures. :dono
