5 week old with multiple lumps appearing. First on neck, then chin, front leg, rear leg. Not draining. Pox or ?

Could very well be. If you start treatment right now you can head the whole thing off and save the little one. You need acyclovir,(Valtrex, which many people take for different forms of herpes) , Gold Bond Powder, and an immune booster like interferon. Let us know what you can come up with and we'll help you dose it. In the meantime keep lesions dry; do not apply creams or ointments. Remove the little one from any other babies you have; this is highly contagious.
