Hi, This may not be the best way to ask for help, but I don't seem to have permission to post yet, and just created this account to get some advice for a baby Ground Squirrel that was given to me by Pet Control. It is one of 3, and the other 2 died of internal injuries. This baby had a small cut on its face but is lively and weighs 31.5 grams. Eyes are still closed.
I don't know how often it needs to eat. I've raised baby squirrels before but never a ground squirrel and I think they need somewhat different care.
Please let me know if you or anyone else is experienced with little ground squirrels and can give me some good advice.
