Alright y’all, I have a 6week old foxer female who had a small puncture wound on her neck and abrasions on her chest. I treated with pedialyte and antibiotics, she has since moved onto formula and antibiotics. She’s perked up, gained weight and you can’t even see the neck wound now. Her chest may still be a bit bruised.
She seems unbothered for the most part. She’s curious and playful although she does shriek like nothing I’ve ever heard whenever she is unhappy. (Like when I make her potty, she gets big mad if it takes too long) she’s gaining and eating well, and even lapped poor little Abu food wise. She eats faster and more.
The issue is that her urine looks bloody tinged and her poo are small hard dark nuggets. Neither smell. She’s been on formula since Tuesday so I would expect yellow by now. The wildlife center is swamped so I usually try to get babies healthy before turning them over and I want to make sure she’s good to go before she heads back.
