I found a baby squirrel at the base of my tree. I have been trying to care for him for 2 days giving him puppy formula, having him in a box on a heating pad, his color was pink and good, and he seemed to be doing okay, but he is showing signs of going down hill as of last night. I just want to save his life. I can't tell if I am over feeding, under feeding. I am hearing a clicking noise and he keeps opening his mouth to breath. I have been stimulating him with a q-tip to go to the bathroom, and stuff is on the q-tip once removed. Right now he is only taking a breath every 7 seconds and it is through his mouth. I need help quick! Is there a way to post a pictures. I am doing all I can, but now I am to the point that I am scared to do anything at all.
