Pouting

I swear, he's got me figured out. Wart doesn't really run around his cage very much. He's got toys to play with, but all he does is lounge in his box, occasionally coming out for a snack.

Its a different story though, if I open the door and play with him - he is all over the place! We will play for about an hour and then he's got to go back (I have to get back to work upstairs) and he just hops in his box, pokes his head out and I swear he pouts.

Any creative things I can add to his cage for a 9wk old for his own playtime?

Yes, we're going to release him. He is a grey squirrel ( I think) - his tummy isn't white, but a soft tan color.

Grey squirrels have white tummies. What color is his tail? Do you have a pic?

Yes they do need things to do, does he have cuttle bones to chew? You can go to the $ store they have monkeys there that the feet attach with velcro, they love those or stuffed animals without eyes.
Also a hammock, get a nice limb from outside to crawl on and sniff and chew!
Make sure it hasnot been sprayed with pesticides, they like new limbs daily!
