If my 5 week old baby squirrel is getting 7% of body weight per meal every 4 hours but is still hungry, should I be offering more formula per serving?

Yes you can offer more just do it gradually. Many will eventually work up to 10% or more of their weight.

Just watch the poops :D
Normal poops will be well formed and any color from olive green to tan while they are still on formula. As soon as you see poops getting mushy and very light in color that's overfeeding, so cut back.

Great, thank you!
Can you tell me how much squirrel blocks I should be providing? Is that based on weight as well?
I’ve seen that I can offer 1 block a day, but I’m working with a 13 striped ground squirrel which is much smaller than a gray.

Okay, thank you!
Will this poop examination be the same for solid foods?

Nope. As soon as babies are on solid foods their poops will get dark brown to black.... And pretty dry like apple seeds 😁
