Good Morning Folks!

Hey I just noticed that one of my wild-ones has a Dime sized bump behind his right arm.

These are mainly country squirrels that live in the trees near our house and understand enough that we aren't a hazard and provide the handfuls shell peanuts and a bird feeder filled with Black Oil Sunflower Seed Wild Bird Feed to squirrels and its litters when they get hungry. This morning while throwing out the peanuts to the squirrels and ravens, one of the squirrels came over a little ways between me and the tree to grab a peanut I had thrown and I noticed it had a rather large bump. The squirrel seem to understand that neither my wife or I will harm them that they will only get close as long as we stay on our screened porch, thus the haze on the pictures.

The bump is only on one squirrel and we have been feeding them for a while and would had noticed this thing already. So we aren't sure if he is a pass-er-by or what.

Hopefully someone with prior experience or knowledge can help identify the bump

That looks like a bot fly warble. They burrow in as tiny larvae and mature under the skin, emerging when mature. They are really disgusting but usually harmless. It looks to me as though there is a dark center - almost like a little opening on the lump - is that correct? If so, it is a breathing hole. I will give you a moment to puke now...

It looks almost ready - one day he will come by with nasty, goopy liquid all in his fur there and the lump gone. A week later you will hardly know it happened.
