Anybody know of a vet with squirrel experience in or around the Ocala, FL area? Not having an emergency or anything but would like to establish a relationship now in case we run into anything in the future for our 2 (NR - captive bred) girls :)

Hey there!

I'm in Dade City, which is about an hour or so from Ocala. There are 2 vets here in my town that will see squirrels:) One is Dade City animal clinic and the other is Blake Veterinary Hospital. Hope that helps!

You're welcome! Just to let you know also, Dr. Emerson is only 2 or 3 hours from Ocala to the East of you I believe. She's considered to be one of the best squirrel vets in the country. I can also vouch for her personally, as I've taken my guy to her before. If it isn't that much further for you, I would take your babies to her over the others should the need ever arise 😎
