PLEASE HELP!!

I have a 7-9 week old gray squirrel who has been on esbilac formula, the only thing is that it’s been the second step formula which is puppy weaning formula so last night I changed his formula to the esbilac regular puppy formula and I did half of old and half of new and since last night he’s been on the 50/50 , he ate this morning and this afternoon but now he won’t eat! He’s constantly sleeping and not really active he has been drinking out of his water bottle. He does seem a little bloated as well. Last thing he seems to be breathing very heavy and feels warm. We have a vet appointment in the morning but I’m worried about him!!! He’s definitely not himself. Can someone help just until we make it to the vet please, I’m so attached to this guy . Please help!!!

He’s super shaky, not eating, just not playful at all he drastically changed after noon eating. Please help us make it through the night !!

I'm so sorry ..... I'm not sure what to tell you but I want to bump your thread.
If no one responds soon maybe go back to original formula till you get an answer if that formula was working.
I'm hoping others will be here soon to give you better advice.

Ok another thought, you say bloating is he pooping?
If not you may want to try warm water bath and softly massager his belly.
Hoping for more help soon.

Sorry about the problems with your little Squirrel! Just to clarify where we might be with this Little One; is this new thread about the same Squirrel that you started threads on 4/10/2023 (Thread: HELP!! Baby Squirrel Questions?!!!) and again on 4/22/2023 (Thread: Pepto dosage PLEASE!!), both in the Baby Squirrel Questions Forum or is this a different Squirrel? Also, just in case, do you have any antibiotics available or can get some quickly. If so, what are the antibiotics and what is the strength (the milligrams of each tablet or capsule) of each antibiotic you have?

I know it's late but I'll keep with you but please, for starters, just clarify if this is the same Squirrel in all three of your threads? Also, when is your Vet appointment and is the Vet Squirrel friendly (will NOT confiscate or euthanize your Squirrel) and Squirrel experienced?

Can you hear any clicking with each breath if you hold him up to your ear like a phone? What did the vet have to say?
