Depression?

Hi again!

My husband is gone for 3 weeks and Walter is very bonded with him. He's with him all of the time in the house.
It's been 3 days and Walter is showing signs of depression. Didn't want to go to his outside cage (he has an inside cage without a door and has free range of the house with a "portal" to his outside cage), doesn't want to eat or play much. He looks really SAD :(
Has anyone experienced this before or am I projecting?

They definitely mourn. Can your husband talk to him on the phone or video Whatsapp or Facetime session?

We tried Face timing but he got scared or confused? He has my husband's favorite sweatshirt nearby. I put it on and he just gently bites down on it with his teeth and doesn't let go, just closes his eyes. It's so sad!!! He knows it's not him wearing the sweatshirt. 😢
