I’m panicking. She is acting ok, but she managed to get gum with xylitol and I had to pull it out of her mouth.
What should I be looking for, what can I do proactively??

I’ve been googling and I’m monitoring for low blood sugar and preemptively gave her some maple syrup (actual maple syrup no additives)

Ok how is she doing?
Don't panic I'm sure it will not harm her especially since she didn't actually eat it.
I've know of a squirrel who actually ate an entire Reese's peanut butter cup which has chocolate and we all know that's poison to dogs.
Sorry I can't be of more help hoping to bump this thread.
Keep us posted please 👍

I’m honestly panicking a lot less, she is not even close to lethargic, I’m still going to stay up with her for another hour, and then I plan to wake up every hour to check that she’s ok, but thankfully I don’t think she actually swallowed any
And I’ve thrown out all the gum in the house!

I'm sure you've got this and she will be fine❤️

She’s doing fine, I was definitely panicking but I’d rather be more worried and proactive than less worried and not be proactive. 😅
I’ll have to update her pictures, it’s been a minute!
