Injured tail

Hello. Any help on care, would be appreciated. The tip of Squiggelz tail has been removed. I do not know how. I found tip outside and he came home with his tail bleeding. He comes and goes when he wants except at night he goes to his cage. Do I just leave him be? Let him rest then give him a wipe bath? Do I treat the tip with anything? I have thought about using the powder vets use to stop bleeding on nails? Just any advice would be appreciated. This is Squiggelz 324042
