2nd odontoma surgery

I am headed to Dr. Emerson's bright and early tomorrow morning for Miracle's 2nd surgery to remove her other top tooth and odontoma. Please send all your prayers and healing thoughts our way. It is a 5 hour drive on a good day but did take 6 hours the first time. I am trying to decide if I want to stay there until her follow up in 3 days or just drive back. Last time the stent was clogged up and when we came back for the follow up they had to clean it out. I am just so full of anxiety.

Sitting in the parking lot at Dr. Emerson's, Miracle is in surgery they said she is almost finished. So ready to hold her!

Dr. Emerson finished the surgery and they said she did great. She is still very groggy but doing okay. Now the long drive home, my daughter is driving so I can sit with Miracle. We come back on Friday so they can remove the stent. Thanks for all the prayers and healing thoughts! Now we just need to get through the next few days and hopefully she will cooperate with taking her medicine.

Just made it home and Miracle is curled up inside my shirt resting. She is more alert now and looks like she is feeling better. I fed her some banana when we got home and she ate it right up. The vet tech at Dr. Emerson's said since she already had the previous odontoma removed that it should be easier for her this time as her breathing shouldn't be as labored. I put her cipro drops in for the night and she gets her other meds in the morning.

323967323967Headed home from Miracle's follow up with Dr. Emerson. Miracle has a clean bill of health and she said her incision looks great, no signs of infection. I just need to continue the antibiotics and keep an eye on her bottom teeth to see when they will need to be trimmed. Thanks everyone for your prayers!
