My name is Charley. Have a new squirrel - she's 4 1/2 months old. Her name is Honey.
I'm trying to figure out how much to feed her for good health. Today's weight = 825 g.

:WelcomeCharley my favorite name 😀
If you go to the section on SQUIRREL NUTRITION that should help, there is a food chart.
I realize you don't need the feeding chart I put up but I can't seem to remove it 🤦🤣

The most important item to feed her is a good quality rodent block. Henry’s Pets makes the best tasting and readily accepted block. It is a supplemental block. Adult squirrels need only 2-3 a day combined with an assortment of fresh veggies and limited fruits. Here’s the healthy diet link with acceptable veggies and fruits. https://thesquirrelboard.com/forums/showthread.php?44440-Healthy-Diet-for-Pet-Squirrels
Henry’s blocks must be purchased online from Henrys Pets. The picky block and hazelnut are usually well received. She should be eating a rodent block well before you provide other foods. We usually introduce the rodent block at 5 weeks when they’re just beginning to sample solid foods.

If you opt for a free feeding block, where she can have as much as she wants, you can use Envigo Harlan Teklad 2018, Mazuri rodent block or Oxbow rodent block. Envigo must be purchased online. I would still recommend providing some veggies and occasionally some fruit just for variety.

Many squirrels like yogurt, too. You can offer vanilla or fruit flavors in a full fat version with no artificial sweeteners.

Some folks like to offer a small plate of greens in the morning along with their Henry’s block. In the afternoon provide some harder veggies like squash, broccoli, sweet potatoe, avocado etc. and leave it till morning along with their evening block (s). Some squirrels will get up and eat in the middle of the night so this way they have something available.

As to the amount…it’s really trial and error. Some squirrels devour everything, others are more picky so you’ll have waste. Most squirrels won’t overeat or get fat unless they’re fed junky human food.
