Hi guys:
Brand new to the board, and massive squirrel enthusiast! :grin2
For the past year or so, I've been feeding the 12-15 fox squirrels in my yard with a variety of foods, including: walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds (all in shells), along with various fruits (no skin or seeds/pits) and of course plenty of fresh water.
The set up is 2 standard box feeders (to keep away bluejays) and 2 bowls of water near each feeder, and each feeder/water bowl set up is separated to 2 areas of the yard, one near the back of the yard and one near the front.
I'm going to be leaving for 5 days, have arranged for someone to fill up the feeders each morning and change the water.
Will the squirrels be OK with just one full feeder to last them the day? I usually fill the feeders a few times throughout the day.
Thanks!
