Please help! I heard his screaming and found him under a tree. His eye is out! Mild clicking while breathing but I m not sure if it’s his nose which is bloodied or chest he/she is so small!

No there is no help around me I actually have people bringing squirrels to me because our so called “wildlife rescuer “ won’t have anything to do with squirrels and and not will TN Wildlife resources!! I have her nesting and resting I don’t know what to do about the eye. I do not have baytril but I do have cipro! I m trying she’s all cuddled and warm I m just crushed for her!

Has a rehabber on her given you advice on what to do?
Right now keeping her in a quiet dark place with heat is good. I am sure someone will be along to advise care.

Well naturally I have always kept my resumes warm and in the dark. She’s getting lots of rest not hearing the raspy sounds anymore that could have been due to her bloodied nose. I have another female a couple of weeks older but keeping them separated obviously. She’s nice and relaxed right now all curled up and repositioning herself as she sees fit. I m just making sure she stays warm right now. I did reach out to a neighbor who helped with a raccoon rescue I rounded him up and she transported for me. There is a vet who treats wildlife for free but he’s about an hour to an hour and a half away from me, she is going to
Get back to me with his number.

As of right now she is doing good, she is warm, she has been eating. She took a little formula this morning and a little more this afternoon. She’s is fiesty. No more clicking when breathing So is most likely the bloody nose as she gives a little sneeze and a little blood comes out. My other rescue has been cuddling with her. I just don’t know what to do about the eye? My other rescue was brought to me by some other people who knew I have raised squirrels, they tried to find local rescuers with my other rescue and none would take her so they brought her to me she’s doing great so I guess now she has a friend. I will post updates and will call a wildlife vet some ways away from me when they open tomorrow.

Thanks for keeping us posted on the poor little thing. I am so glad she has a new "sibling."
