Baby squirrels or other?

I have been given a litter of 9 little angels That a friend's dog had found, 3 did not survive the trauma. So now I am left with six. I'm trying to figure out if these are baby squirrels or another type of rodent. I would assume from this year numbers there are another type of Rodent. Is any help is appreciated. I will upload pictures as soon as I figure out how.
