My 7/8 week old baby woke up this morning, with trouble breathing. I am afraid he may have pneumonia. Can anyone help me with the dosage instructions on Baytril? Of course it's a holiday weekend and no vets are open for me to take him to.

Please give us the information on the baytril - concentration, etc. We also need the weight of your baby. You will need a 1ml syringe w/o needle but with clear markings to dilute and dose once we give you the directions.

I thought i had some, but i actually don't. Checking with a friend that may have cipro. He seems to be better than this morning. Still has appetite and still active. Im trying to figure out how to attach a video of him.

A/P will cause lethargy and going off food usually before you hear any clicking in their chest. Any time I see a baby fed by humans that suddenly goes off food from one feeding to another and is droopy, I assume A/P and start meds. That he is eating and active is a good thing.

That makes me feel better. Any clue as to what it could be? I wish I could get the video to attach so you could hear him. He is blowing snot out of his nose. It's clear and no fever appears to be present. Thank you for your help. I have rehabbed several and have not experienced this.
