Hi,
I don't know where else to turn. I in downtown Montreal. Yesterday afternoon I was walking a dog and saw a baby squirrel was wandering on the sidewalk. I discovered that there were 3 more babies that had fallen from a nest that must be over the top balcony of the apt building. None of them have injuries. I put them in an open cardboard box in case the mom would come. She didn't come yesterday during daylight.

So I took them in overnight. I gave a little hydration solution and put them back at the building with a warm water in 2 large ziplocks, 1 over the other, and put that under a shirt. Unfortunately, I can't bring them in again overnight tonight because of apartment issues and I don't know how to safely take care of a squirrel beyond 24 hours.

The SPCA isn't answering their phones and a local group called Ecureille Land is saying that they have too many squirrels already. Are there any members who are squirrel fosters/rehabilitators from Montreal that might be able to help ? I don't want these 4 babies to die in the cold.

Any help would be appreciated. Please message me and I can give my phone number!

Go to Ecureuil Land - it's a squirrel rescue group in Montreal. They are on FB and are fairly good at responding quickly.

Never mind. I just saw that you contacted them. Bummer.
