My little girl, Jeri, is 4 weeks old. I am feeding her Esbilac formula. She is currently 52 grams and eating roughly 2.5mls at each feeding - which is every 3 hours. I know she will be transitioning to solid food soon. What do I give her? What is the best first food and what supplements does she need? I want to go ahead and have everything ready and will have to order. Thank you 322626

The first and only solid foods should be high quality rodent block. Henry's Healthy Bites (HHB) are the very best:

If you get Henry's order the Picky block.

They will only shred it at first then eventually start eating it. Once they are eating teh block... and only after they are eating the block... start introducing healthy veggies and some fruit:

May be a dumb question but is it obvious when they start eating instead of shredding?

Once their eyes open, start placing 1/2 a block in with them. It will be at least a week or 2.. maybe more, before they are eating it. And yes, it will be fairly obvious (less crumb cleaning).
