Hi! This is the little one I've had since Thursday night, 11pm CST. Question below with description following.

Question322474322475322476: Another forum said because she's underweight to get the Fox Valley Day ONE Ultraboost Formula bc it produces more weight gain. Should I get the Ultraboost or keep her on Esbilac until her eyes open and then switch her to FV20/50?

She was very thin and dehydrated when I got her. We did Pedialyte for 24 hours and tell her skin no longer tented, but she is still pretty thin. I'm trying to slowly fatten her up, but I have a few questions. After rehydration and consistent feeding she is up to 68-70grams. I am currently using Esbilac and she is eating 3-4cc every three hours. I am also getting up one time at night to feed her bc she's underweight. I have a bag of Fox Valley 32/40 on my counter, but read that it sits like concrete in their tummies and has been killing little ones. She appears to be almost four weeks old; eyes closed, smooth belly, but I can see a little toofer poking through on the bottom.

Hey there, I’ve also got a skinny one (she’s 2ish weeks) and you add the ultraboost to the esbilac! I started adding some to hers today and she got so excited at the taste she started rooting like crazy!

Although there may be other issues, like worms and parasites both internal and external, for failure to thrive; perhaps the formula is lacking in amount for this larger bodied squirrel? If not, it might be due to a potential internal or genetic condition or an unknown allergy perhaps?
